The 2025 Freedom Tour
The second annual Morizzo Foundation Freedom Tour took place in Atlanta the weekend of September 12, 2025. Friends, family, colleagues, and supporters joined us for a lighthearted pickleball tournament, followed by an evening of connection, storytelling, and fundraising.
Guests heard personal testimonies from those affected by glioblastoma and valuable insights from Dr. Jay-Jiguang Zhu.
Proceeds will be split between The Preston Robert Tisch Duke Brain Tumor Center to fund clinical trials, and The Morizzo Foundation Glioblastoma Patient Support Grant. Thank you to everyone who helped make the weekend a success!

Baltimore Strong
A Reunion for a Good Cause
On May 10, 2025, we hosted a reunion evening to raise funds for glioblastoma research. It was not only a chance to reconnect with old friends and colleagues, but also an opportunity to share personal stories, raise awareness, and gain valuable insights from Dr. John Tew on glioblastoma, health, and the importance of access to evolving treatment options.
Thank you to everyone who supported us, whether in person or from afar. All proceeds from the evening – Baltimore Strong – will directly support glioblastoma research and help expand access to life-saving treatments for those affected by this disease.

Angels Among Us 5K & Walk for HOPE 2025
On April 26, 2025, we traveled to Durham, North Carolina to take part in the 32nd Annual 5K & Walk for HOPE, hosted by Angels Among Us.
Nearly 3,000 participants and 263 teams came together in support of brain tumor research, raising more than $2.7 million for The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke.
In 2024, The Morizzo Foundation was proud to be the second largest donor to the Duke Brain Tumor Center, helping to advance research and fund clinical trials. We're grateful for the chance to support this vital work—and honored to be part of such a meaningful event.

The 2024 Freedom Tour
The Inaugural Freedom Tour took place on the weekend of September 13, 2024, with the goal to awareness of glioblastoma and raise funds for crucial research and life-saving treatments for those facing this disease. Thank you to everyone who joined us for a weekend of fun and fundraising, as we teed off for a good cause!
All proceeds raised by The Inaugural Freedom Tour are benefitting the Angels Among Us Foundation to support glioblastoma research conducted by The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University.
