Dr. Henry S. Friedman
MD, Ph.D.
Dr. Henry S. Friedman is an internationally renowned academic adult and pediatric neuro-oncologist and a leading figure at The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University, where he holds the title of James B. Powell Jr. Distinguished Professor of Pediatric Oncology. With over four decades of experience, Dr. Friedman has made immense contributions to the advancement of glioblastoma treatment and research, authoring more than 500 peer-reviewed articles, reviews, and book chapters, and delivering over 160 lectures worldwide.
A committed educator and mentor, he serves on the Executive and Super Executive Committees of Duke University School of Medicine and is Senior Editor of CNS Oncology. He has collaborated extensively with the FDA, National Cancer Institute, and leading pharmaceutical partners to advance drug development for brain tumor patients.
Dr. Friedman serves on the advisory boards of numerous advocacy organizations, including Voices Against Brain Cancer and the Tug McGraw Foundation, and is Chair of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Biomedical Research. His honors include the Visionary Award from the Tug McGraw Foundation and the Gary Lichtenstein Humanitarian Award. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Investigation and an Honorary Fellow of the Foreign Policy Association.

Dr. John M. Tew
MD, FACS
Dr. John M. Tew, Jr. is a neurosurgeon with the Mayfield Clinic, Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Cincinnati, and a pioneer in the treatment of brain tumors, aneurysms, and facial pain.
He served for 20 years as Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center before co-founding the UC Neuroscience Institute in 1998. A recipient of the prestigious Van Wagenen Fellowship, he trained under Gazi Yasargil, MD, the founder of micro-neurosurgery, at the University of Zurich.
Dr. Tew has served as President of both the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the Academy of Neurological Surgeons. He has published more than 200 papers and 75 book chapters, co-authored four books including the Atlas of Operative Microneurosurgery, trained more than 60 neurosurgeons, and held more than 60 visiting professorships worldwide.
His honors include the Health Care Heroes Lifetime Achievement Award, an honorary fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice Medal bestowed by Pope John Paul II.

Dr. Jay-Jiguang Zhu
MD, Ph.D.
Dr. Jay-Jiguang Zhu is a fellowship-trained, board-certified neurologist with specific expertise in neuro-oncology, specializing in the treatment of primary brain tumors and central nervous system metastasis at UTHealth Neurosciences in Houston, Texas.
He earned his doctorate in molecular biology from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his medical degree from McGill University, subsequently completing his neuro-oncology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
A Professor and Neuro-Oncology Attending at UTHealth, Dr. Zhu has amassed over 216 publications and is deeply committed to advancing glioblastoma research through clinical trials and molecular-guided treatment approaches. He is a respected member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
His honors include the Massachusetts Medical Society Scholarship and the Abby H. Shevitz, MD Young Physician Award. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Chinese, he serves a diverse patient population with a reputation for compassionate, individualized care.
