What airport should we fly into?

There are two main airports in Houston, and we recommend flying into IAH George Bush Intercontinental Airport. Please be advised that construction is currently taking place at George Bush Intercontinental Airport that may impact traffic conditions, mainly during afternoon peak travel times.
How long is the drive from the airport to The Woodlands?

Typical travel time is approximately 35 minutes.
How long is the drive from my hotel to the Friday night event?

Travel time from one of the suggested hotels to Friday night's event is approximately 15 minutes.
What transportation options are available at the airport and within The Woodlands?

Uber, Lyft, and other rideshare options are available at both the airport and The Woodlands area. Rental cars are also available.
What is the weather like in The Woodlands?

Average temperatures in September in The Woodlands range from lows of 70° and highs of 95°. On average, you can expect humidity levels around 60-70%.
Where is golf course?

The Freedom Tour's golf event will be hosted at The Tournament Course at The Woodlands Country Club, located at: 1730 S. Millbend Drive The Woodlands, TX 77380
What is the golf club's phone number?

Will rental golf clubs be available?

There are very limited rental clubs available at the club. To reserve clubs, you'll need to contact the club directly. We recommend that you travel with your clubs or use a golf club shipment company like Shipsticks.com. Additionally, you can rent clubs through ClubLender.com.
What should I expect at Friday night's event?

Friday night's Dinner, Drinks, and Stories event will take place from 7:00 - 10:00pm at: 34 Hunewell Court, The Woodlands, TX 77382 Dress Code: Snappy Casual (red, white, and blue colors requested).
Will there be dinner at Friday night's event?

Yes, you can expect catered food and beverages. Please reach out to the hosts if you require any dietary modifications.
When does Saturday's golf outing start?

The first tee time is scheduled for 1:00pm, located at The Woodlands Country Club's Tournament Course at: 1730 S. Millbend Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77380
Where is dinner on Saturday evening?

Dinner will be served at Mitchell's Chophouse at The Woodlands Country Club. Cocktail hour begins at 7:00pm and dinner is at 8:30pm. Attire: Casual Cocktail.
Where will the money raised by The Freedom Tour go?

100% of the proceeds and donations will go to the Angels Among Us Foundation to support glioblastoma research conducted by The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University.
If I'm not able to play golf, how can I help?

If you're unable to participate in the golfing event, you can still support The Freedom Tour's efforts by donating to The Morizzo Foundation online, or you can contact carolynn@morizzofoundation.org before or during the event.
Are there shopping and other entertainment opportunities nearby?

Yes. The Woodlands Mall and Market Street are within walking distance, and both provide shopping and dining opportunities.
